| I was so shocked yesterday when I knew this, but today's official announcement did reassure me.
"dream, a group that has been existing for 7 years, will be renamed as DRM starting from 27 June. The reason to rename dream is to indicate an evolution. The members will remain unchanged."

That's understandable why they would like a rename though. Let me summerise my point of view in 3 aspects.
The leader of dream: Tachibana Kana
 Well-known for her beauty and vocal in Japan: Hasebe Yu
1/ Originality. The original dream consisted of Matsumurai Mai, Hasebe Yu and Tachibana Kana. In 2002, Mai decided to leave to learning composing. All of a sudden, 6 new faces joined the group, and making dream a girl unit. Later Ai Risa quit as well, resulting the current 7-membered dream. From a 3-membered vocal group to a 7-membered performing unit, the style and direction they have gone through has changed completely. And at the same time, complaints arose as some fans complaint the new members could never replace Mai. However, the new members showed that they're qualified to be part of dream and evolved significantly since their debut. Therefore to show that they're a different group, it's better to have the name retitled rather self-claiming while using the same name.
 The only dream member who also releases CDs as a solo artist: Yamamoto Sayaka
 A welcomed unique voice that sings deep and high: Nishida Shizuka
2/ Previous musical assest. Old songs have been re-sung again, again and again. Movin' on, Private wars, reality, NIGHT OF FIRE, My will, Our Time, Get Over, Yourself. You name it. These songs are concert favourites, yet they are from the first generation and have been appearing continuously in dream's concert for at least 5 years. Don't get me wrong, they're very very nice which I love, but that does not excite people like before. Even the dance routines are 80% identical to the first generation's. Therefore in order to provide excitement, they should not rely on the old songs too much, or should at least have a complete make over for the dance routines of the old songs.

3/ Fans. It's not a bad thing to have fans supported. However the overwhelming of fans might discourage new fans to join, especially dream previously aimed, or were mistakenly assumed to aim, at male audience. It's obvious that dream would like to expand their appeals to female audience, e.g.: the special female VIP areas in concert. However, it yields little efficacy. So the rename can help to show they're a different identity and expand their fanbase.

So surprisingly, I feel positive about this change. I do believe I have to spend some time getting used to this name since I believe dream is a better title. However, I cannot beg much since I believe it'll be a good change for dream. I truly believe so. So, DRM, keep Movin' on!! I'll still be supporting you 200% no matter what.
On a side note, I found out that Oricon and all CD selling companies have transfered every dream's release under the name of DRM. How efficient is that.

I was reading Winston's blog and... I wanna cry really. Why couldn't I sing 'poker face' to ayu to celebrate her 9th year anniversary... Why couldn't I listen to her funny Cantonese... Why couldn't I buy an ayu-pan for myself... (T_T)
I read ayu said she will see us soon. I'll be waiting for you and celebrate your 10th year anniversary, ayu-sama!!! >=)

Surprising there're solo for each member! Kana took Mai's "NeverMore" and according to this formula:
" Kana's singing + Mai's lyric = PERFECT "
This performance must be superb. XD
I saw "Kono Natsu ga Owaru Mae ni" on the list too. Finally it's performed in a concert... Afterall it's my theme song you know. :P
Ahhhh tell me why I have just missed two cool concerts... Ahhh...

Winston is going to the ayu's concert tonight. Hope he'll enjoy the time there. (In fact he better enjoys or I'll kill him lol)

啊～真的是很瘋狂的一天。
笑得喉嚨很痛。（笑）
不論是對我說過「生日快樂」的人、跟我發了慶生短信的人、又或者是陪我度過這天的人、、、
『真的謝謝各位』。
能夠與大家相識實在是太好了。
今後，我希望每天能順應著自己的速度，
一邊感受著生命中的喜怒哀樂，一邊珍惜著這份一去不回的生命，
